Samyang / Rokinon
Samyang (Samyang Optics Co., Ltd.) is a South Korean company founded in 1972. Since March 2024, LK Samyang (LK stands for "Leading Korea") has been the new official name of the company. Depending on the market, the lenses are marketed under various brand names: 'Samyang' is the best-known and most widespread globally, 'Rokinon' for the North American market, and 'Walimex', 'Bower', and 'Vivitar' have also been used in the past.
