Voigtländer
Voigtländer is a company founded in Austria in 1756. However, over the centuries, the historic company moved to Germany and changed ownership several times until it exited the market in 1971. In the years that followed, the brand underwent several acquisitions, but only in In 1999, with the purchase of the exclusive rights to the name from Ringfoto GmbH & Co. KG by the Japanese company Cosina Co., Ltd., lens production resumed and the brand was relaunched. Production is now in Japan.
